It'a difficult for me to criticise a place I went as I like to see the whole world.
Somehow, i found that i-City is the place I will not recommend you to go.
1. Useless
What is the point to have such lighted trees with different colours???
2. Environmental Pollution
Remember the Earth Hour in March every year? We cannot just to do that once in a year, some more for 1 hour only. We should carry out everyday.
3. Bad breath
Someone said that the place is good for us to relax or go for a walk after dinner. But, a place without REAL trees or natural plants, is it good for us to go? Without fresh air + thousand of people, you can imagine how bad the air there. May be I'm quite exaggerate. Anyway, you can check by yourself.
4. Money wasted
There are so many lighted trees or light cactus without lights. They do not maintain it! So, what is the point to waste so much money to build the place?
I can't deny that the lighted trees are so beautiful. Just, really wasted if no people maintain and without any purpose.
May be they can actually plant some real trees, put some chairs etc, just like a park or garden. So that people who go there can sit there for relax. Build a trail for people who like jogging, may be a trail with stone for foot massage too.
Then, build a small amusement park for kids also.
There are so many things can do with that big place.
I think it's better to do some changes, if not, how to attract people to go there? How the developers there make money? The business idea was totally failed. Without changes, it will not last when people get boring or nobody maintain the place. Remember NZX at Ara Damamsara? I suspect that i-City will become 2nd NZX soon~
May be you will still curious with that place and wanted to see it with your own eye. Of course, you may go. But, i advice you not going at weekend. Too many people~~
Okay, after critise the place, let me show you some photos I took~

The Entrance for one of the park in i-City can't recall the name (Another one is Safari Park)

Okay, now, how to get to that place???
Very easy.
If you are in Federal Highway, follow the signboard to Shah Alam. All the way down, if you are from PJ Hilton Hotel, you will need to pass by Sunway, Subang then reach a toll. After Shah Alam toll, still straight, around 1-2km, you will see the signboard to i-City, exit to i-City Juction, turn right at the traffic light. Go straight, pass by Pizza Hut and turn left when you see a building called Wisma Jakel. Go straight again, then you will see i-City car park at your left hand side.
Amended:
Forgot to inform you all that you need to buy a RM10 voucher for 1 car before you drive into the car park.
I don't know how about for week days, i went there at Saturday and we bought the RM10 voucher.
You can use the voucher to buy drinks or as ticket to visit the indoor Snow world or Night Safari.
We bought 4 ice-cream as the voucher only valued for RM8 if below RM20 purchased.
Oh ya, my friends went there at May, it was totally free.
So, can I suspect that there are actually collect the maintainance fee to maintain the lighted trees there? huh~ I don't know~
